For Christmas decorations you require lots of
items like dolls, small teddies, pinecones, Christmas tree and star.
Instead of buying star from the market you can easily make one at
home. For that you need wrapping paper, cardboards and some string.
Cut out a huge cardboard star and make a hole on the top. Cover the
cardboard with foil for a Silver Star or flashy red paper. Use a
brush to paint glue in any pattern on the star and spread the
glitter over it. After it dries, dust off the excess glitter. Attach
the string and hang the star at the portico, windowsill, Christmas
tree or anywhere you wish.
The star symbolizes the star that appeared quite miraculously in
the eastern sky on the birth of Jesus Christ. The star is believed
to have guided the magi, who were the three wise men from the East
to find the newborn king. The star was indeed a strange star and
people continue to believe that a miracle had occurred around the
time of the birth of Christ. The Christmas star continues to adorn
the churches and houses as part of the traditional Christmas
celebrations. The star stands for high hopes and ideals, a hope for
a good fortune and to reach above oneself. So it is important to
decorate your house with stars during Christmas.
